Witnessed IFS Sessions

Witnessed IFS Sessions – Listen in on an Actual IFS Session

Listen in as I gently guide someone into an awareness of their inner “system” of parts.  I discovered early on that I had a facility for doing this type of work in front of a group.  It is one of the most satisfying things I do.  I like that the healing that happens ripples out into the listeners and has an even greater impact. The healing Presence of Self is so palpable when a group is supporting someone as they do inner work. I’ve done a lot of this type of work when leading workshops and have been happy to discover that it can be done on the phone with a group also.  After listening to a couple of the sessions you’ll start to get a feel for what an inner parts work (IFS) session is like with me.  Witnessing an IFS session can be very powerful for both the people witnessing and the person who is doing the session.  I also do a lot of teaching about IFS during the sessions.

Below you will find the recordings of actual IFS sessions that were done on a group conference call. Each person knew they were being recorded and that these sessions would be used in this way.

Many times the “parts” that the person is working with will resonate with you as you are listening. This leads to deep levels of healing for everyone in the group.

I’m a certified Internal Family Systems practitioner and since I also teach the IFS process so I am very much a purist in the way I do IFS sessions.  I know many new IFS therapists and practitioners listen to these sessions to gain and deepen their knowledge of IFS.  I’m grateful they are a help to the larger IFS community.
